I’ve just seen and heard so much hatred. I’ve been called garbage, I’ve been called the death of fucking good music, trash, stupid, pointless and disposable. I don’t understand. I’m just trying to make people happy. And it’s such positive, fun music. Like, why are people so angry?

I hate people who think they’re so much better than someone else just because they don’t like the same things. I constantly see people hating on things like Ke$ha, Twilight, Jersey Shore, etc. Yes, I know they may not be the most intelligent movies, shows or whatever but can’t people just have fun? Does it always have to be serious? Some people splash paint on a canvas and make money off of it. No one calls the people who buy their artwork stupid. If it doesn’t please your eye, don’t look at it. Fuck, people need to get off their high horse.
